What’s included

  • Admission to eight, full-scale productions across one weekend
  • Exclusive Pop-Up events, only available to passholders, for additional purchase
  • Access to other unticketed events, Third Places, and more

Your performance schedule

A Weekend Pass includes admission to the core program. With one pass you can see all eight of our full scale productions over the course of a specific weekend. We’ll provide you with an itinerary of showtimes based on your travel plans. Each itinerary contains the same set of eight shows. Schedules only differ in the timing of the shows. If you’re coming with friends, make sure to choose the same arrival and departure times.

Adding to your performance schedule

Want to pack in more action? Later this spring we will announce Pop-Up Events, Installations, and Third Places. Tickets for these events are sold separately or in some cases will be free with no reservation required.

Call us at (413) 458-3200 x120 for questions or hotel accommodations; discounted rooms for passholders are available at The Williams Inn (Williamstown) and The Porches Inn (North Adams) until June 1 through Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Can’t join the whole weekend? Select performances can be purchased individually, without the purchase of a weekend pass.

Single tickets for Camino Real and Spirit of the People will go on sale mid-April. Single tickets to other productions will be based on availability.

Donors get first access.

Standby Passes

Each weekend, a number of Standby Passes are available for a reduced rate. Standby Passholders are guaranteed admission to both Camino Real and Spirit of the People and encouraged to join standby lines for other productions. Standby lines will be in person 2 hours prior to curtain time and entry will be pending availability. Standby Passes will go on sale in mid-April.

Box Office Policies

Patron Code of Courtesy

Through shared understanding and the desire to create a sense of community with our attendees, Williamstown Theatre Festival is part of a Berkshire-based consortium of cultural organizations, who have developed a unified “Patron Code of Courtesy.” We understand that attendees at our cultural events have awareness of playing a vital role in ensuring the enjoyment of all in our spaces. Please note: each individual organization may have additional policies. Click here to view the full Patron Code of Courtesy.

Processing Fees & Will Call

All tickets are subject to a $5 processing fee per ticket. All tickets will be digital this summer and emailed as a link in the order confirmation email.

Exchange Policy

Single tickets may be exchanged for the same production up to 48 hours prior to the performance you are unable to attend (subject to availability). A $5 per-ticket fee (waived for Donors at the $500 level and above) will be charged in addition to any applicable ticket upgrade costs. Refunds will not be made on exchanges into a lower-priced performance or seating area.

Full weekend passes may also be exchanged into a different itinerary or weekend, subject to availability, for $5 per-pass fee (waived for Donors at the $500 level and above). Due to the nature of the weekend pass, individual performances within an itinerary cannot be exchanged into another performance. We regret that we cannot seat a patron who has missed a previous performance.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds. Program, casting, and public health protocols are subject to change. If you find you are unable to use your single tickets or full weekend passes, please consider returning them to the Box Office 24 hours prior to the performance or weekend, respectively, to receive a tax-deductible receipt. Please note: only full weekend passes can be donated back.

Accessibility

The venues being used for the core program are wheelchair accessible. Please request accessible seating when ordering tickets. A limited number of assistive listening devices are available for performances at the '62 Center for Theatre & Dance and The Annex on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about WTF’s access programs, please call the Box Office at (413) 458-3253.

Latecomers

Performances start on time; latecomers will be admitted at the House Manager’s discretion.

Cameras & Recording Devices

All cameras and recording devices are strictly forbidden inside the theater. Please check them with the House Manager before entering the theater.

Phone Use

Phone use during performances is strictly prohibited. Silence your phone and turn off alarms prior to entering the theater. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.

Ticket Access Programs

AccessTix

A limited number of $30 AccessTix will be available for every Festival performance for which single tickets are sold. While there are no restrictions on who can purchase AccessTix, the purpose of this reduced price ticket program is to provide an entry-level price point for people who cannot otherwise afford to attend the Festival, so please consider this when making your ticket selection. AccessTix quantities are limited and availability may vary by production and performance. There is a limit of four AccessTix per performance per customer.

EBT & ConnectorCare Card to Culture

Williamstown Theatre Festival is a proud participant in the state-wide Card to Culture initiative created by the Mass Cultural Council in partnership with the Executive Office of Health and Humans Services’ Department of Transitional Assistance, and the Massachusetts Health Connector, respectively. Anyone with a Massachusetts-issued EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card or ConnectorCare health insurance card may contact the Box Office via phone or in-person to purchase $20 tickets to every Festival performance for which single tickets are sold (tickets subject to availability; offer limited to two tickets per EBT or ConnectorCare card). Cannot be combined with any other offer or used for special events. See the full list of participating organizations offering EBT & ConnectorCare discounts.

Half-Tix

Williamstown Theatre Festival takes part in the Berkshire county-wide “Half-Tix Discount Program.” Every participating organization sells half-priced tickets at their respective Box Office from 12-5pm daily for that day’s performance(s). These tickets are only available in-person day-of, are first-come, first-served (pending ticket availability), and limited to two tickets per household. We recommend calling the Box Office prior to making the trip to the venue to inquire about availability. Blackout dates may apply.

Rush

Rush tickets to our MainStage and NikosStage productions are subject to availability and may be purchased, if available, two hours prior to each performance at the Box Office—CASH ONLY. General adult rush tickets are $30 and youth student rush tickets are $20. Limit two general adult rush tickets per person. Limit one youth student rush ticket per student with valid student ID (youth student ID must be presented at the Box Office at time of purchase to obtain the discount). When you come to the box office window, you must say that you wish to purchase rush tickets. Rush ticket discount cannot be combined with any other offer and is subject to ticket availability.
