Arrive early for the Sunday matinee performance to hear artists, special guests, and WTF staff delve into the rich themes of WTF productions on the Front Lawn. Bring your own picnic or stop by concessions for pre-show refreshments!

July 10 – Man Of God

Man Of God actor Helen J Shen and Jeffrey Israel, Chair and Associate Professor of Religion at Williams College, will join WTF Artistic Associate Lianna Rada-Hung to discuss the importance of stories about the female experience and the issues of masculinity and power in the US Christian Church.

July 17 – Most Happy in Concert

Interim Artistic Director Jenny Gersten will be in conversation with Music Director Sean Forte, Costume Designer Terese Wadden, and Associate Costume Designer Anne Kennedy from Most Happy in Concert. This powerhouse team will discuss the bold new musical orchestrations as well as the inventive designs of Most Happy in Concert.

August 7 – we are continuous

Tony Award-winning playwright and composer Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop), will be in conversation with Harrison David Rivers, playwright of we are continuous, for the final Lawn Talk of Williamstown Theatre Festival’s 2022 season. These accomplished artists will engage in a wide-ranging conversation about art, identity, and the development of personal narratives for the stage.
