2017 Season

Each year, WTF awards the prestigious Bill Foeller and Boris Sagal Directing Fellowships to two up-and-coming directors, challenging them to create ambitious work in collaboration with writers, designers, and members of the WTF Non-Equity Company. The 2017 Bill Foeller Directing Fellowship is awarded to Estefania Fadul. The 2017 Boris Sagal Fellowship/Drama League Residency is awarded to Jenna Worsham.

In addition to this exciting work, WTF produces a re-theatricalization of a classic American play, developed by members of WTF’s Non-Equity Company. This season, Jason McDowell-Green, director of WTF’s Professional Training Program, will direct Sam Shepard’s Curse of the Starving Class, with performances on July 17 and 18 at 7pm and 11pm.
