Performing for one night only on the Main Stage on Monday, August 10 at 7:30 pm, Ana Gasteyer: Swing With A Handsome Woman, features comedy star and classically-trained songstress Ana Gasteyer serving up swagger and swing in her new nightclub jazz act. Known for her character-driven comedy on Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002, she has since showcased her vocal chops in the world of theatre. She originated the role of Elphaba for the Chicago production of Wicked, earning a Jefferson Award nomination and later reprising her role on Broadway. She recently starred in New York City Center’s revival of A New Brain with Jonathan Groff. Join Ana for a one-night-only event of saucy stand-up and sultry standards in the Berkshires. Don’t miss her Williamstown Theatre Festival debut! Tickets start at $100, which includes a post-performance reception with Gasteyer and other Festival artists; Orchestra and First Balcony seats are $65; and Second Balcony seats are $45.

 

Ana Gasteyer is best known for her incomparable work on “Saturday Night Live”.  Her debut album “I’m Hip” was released this fall and was a hit on the jazz charts. She recently starred on the ABC’s hit comedy “The Goldbergs”, Fox’s “The Mindy Project”, HBO’s “Girls” and CBS’s “The Good Wife”. Her Broadway credits include Threepenny Opera, The Royal Family, and played ‘Elphaba’ in Wicked. Additional television credits include:  “Suburgatory” as Sheila Shay,  “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Frasier” and “Law and Order”. She has also hosted “The Late Late Show”, “Live with Regis” and “The Rosie O’Donnell Show”. On film she will soon be seen in Sony’s Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. Additional film credits include:  Rapture-palooza, Mean Girls, What Women Want.
